Of course it works. So why not use it?
Some things have just been around for what seems like forever. It’s no surprise that when advertising began to become more prominent in the early twentieth century certain strategies emerged that are still around today. Product positioning is one of them.
I’m not sure how many brochures or newsletters they were printing out back then to capitalize on the strategy, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see a few of them.
And of course, what has become modern poster printing I can guarantee was around long ago in the form of signs on the side of a building, encouraging certain groups of people to come on in.
After all, finding and targeting a certain audience has been around for ages, so why wouldn’t a business still use it today? It’s sad so many companies don’t seem to realize this.
